HI,
how do I set the background image to be at the top of a page? I see no option for “vertical: top, center, bottom” and the default seems to be “center” on page vertically.
Thanks,

I also have an issue setting the background color, it doesn’t work. I’m using Catalyst/Dynamik theme. I really really wish it was working….

Just noticed that a new image has to be added to each page, as in, you can’t use images from the media library.
This makes the situation worse and forces me to find an alternative plugin or custom solution

This is a great plug-in! It would be awesome to have the option to top or bottom align the image though.

Unfortunately for me, the !important code doesn’t help because it also locks in the horizontal position. I have some unique background and so I have used all three horizontal alignments and my putting in the !important in my css, now they are all center aligned.
Definitely count this as a request to add vertical alignment to the next update.

just building a new site in 3.4.. would love to use your plugin!
is there anything on the horizon? -
Hi,
I just installed your plugin but I’m having trouble viewing it. I’m deleted my cache, logged out and logged back it but it’s not showing up anywhere for me to start making background edits using your app. I’m using the free Responsive wordpress theme. Has there been any problem with others being able to access the plugin using this theme? I’m not sure what to do. Thanks for the plugin! Hope you can help me. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Hmmm… I can’t get it to work. It just accepts the background as stated in the standard WP settings.
Any ideas?

Clarification. It DO work with an image, but I can’t set a background color.

Hello,
I’ve installed your background images plugin and it’s not working. In the notes on the wordpress plugin site you state:
My backgrounds aren’t showing up. Why?
The theme you are using needs to be calling . Check that it is.
I don’t know how to do that “calling ….”
Can you please advise on what to do to make it work. I am on the latest Wordress release. Could that be the problem?
I want to put a specific background image on specific pages.
Thanks,

I solved this with a workaround by making the default template & background “fullwidth” and then specifying alternate backgrounds in all the pages that do not use the fullwidth template. Seems like there must be a better way, however… Ideas?? Thanks!

I’m using a child theme of TwentyEleven, with a custom page template called Fullwidth. I’m attempting to use this plugin to remove the content background image and just display a white background in the page content area. I actually can’t get the backgrounds to display with any page template, and changing the Settings>Reading options>Blog Page doesn’t fix that. (I’d actually prefer to set the background for the template, but thought I’d try this plugin since I haven’t been able to figure out how to do that.) Any clues? Thanks!!!
