ChimpPress provides an interface for creating and managing your MailChimp campaigns without having to leave your WordPress dashboard.
It also allows you to utilise MailChimps campaign sending and management tools to send automatic mailouts when ever a post/page/CPT is published.
Current features of ChimpPress
- Create bespoke HTML emails using the intuitive drag and drop editor.
- Add padding and colours to specific cells in your email or to the entire campaign.
- Select from a number of layout templates and then add multiple rows and columns as needed.
- Import/Export as well as quick import of existing campaigns.
- Resize images within the editor by dragging them to the desired size.
- Receive in-depth stats about your campaign.
- Set up a campaign as a "Template" and specify when it should be used to send out notifications when a post/page/CPT is published.
- Manage your subscribers.
All you need is a MailChimp account and an API key and you can start creating bespoke html emails!

OK, I deleted the first campaign and created another one and ran into the same problem. It happens when I add an image or content to the cells and try to save the draft of the campaign. I need to get my site up and running, so I’m uninstalling this plugin for now.

I created a new campaign template and selected a layout (three cells stacked). I added an image to the top cell, and content to the other two cells. Somewhere along the line the screen went dark and a “Loading” image appeared with the grey spiraling bar under it. I don’t know what I did, to be honest. Now every time I try to edit this campaign that Loading image comes back. I’ve deactivated the plugin, but every time I go back to edit that campaign the Loading screen comes back immediately. It stays there for a long, long time (>20 min last time).
Any idea what’s going on?

Thanks a BILLION melux.. this worked for me .. 100 instead of 25 refreshed and boom there it is.

Hi, love the plugin but no matter what CSS style I try, I get a weird offset on the table.
Anyone know a way to fix this?

Same as Garfield, nothing shows up when i activate the plugin (wp 3.4)
So sad, i was expecting sooooo much from your plugin, couldn’t find one that actually works…-

Could you please try deactivating any other plugins you have and see if one of them is causing it? If you find it is a particular plugin please let me know and I will attempt to fix chimppress to work with that plugin.

Hi Andy !
You were quit right ! In fact, it’s not a plugin who breaks the button, it’s a theme (from Yootheme). It adds a configuration button below the Comments button, just where the ChimpPress goes when I change my theme. Is there az way to put the chimppress button below Settings, for exemple ? (and would a “simple” solution like this work ?)

I just fixed it :
In class-chimppress-setup.php, I replaced line 57 the value of the ‘menu_position’ parameter, which is 25, with 100.
